We are excited to return to Big Heart Matamoros for our annual Summer Camp - Sunday, June 29th - Friday, July 4th. We had an amazing camp last year and are praying for the same this year. Our camp theme is "David: A Man After God's Own Heart."

Summer Camp 2025
We are excited to return to Big Heart Matamoros, located in a rural area outside Matamoros, 15 minutes from the Los Indios Border Crossing. We will be hosting foster youth from the three Big Heart Orphanage facilities, as well as Pan de Vida, for a 4 day Biblically focused summer camp. Big Heart Orphanage, Matamoros is located in a rural area in between Reynosa & Matamoros, Mexico. The Los Indios International Bridge is 14 kilometers (15 minutes) from the facility, which you can see on the map. The facility sits on 44 acres in a rural farming area. The only travel in Mexico is to and from the orphanage from the border crossing at Los Indios. Ensuring the security of all trip participants is are our highest priority and we are happy to discuss in more detail how we executed our plans surrounding safety.
The facility has climate controled dormitories (male & female), many recreational areas (including a pool), and wifi internet. A video of the facility is included below.
Cost is $450 for persons 12 and older and $275 for children 11 and under. It includes all lodging and meals. We welcome families, but families with young children (children must be 5 or older) must undergo an interview. All participants 11 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Transportation can be arranged, but most participants drive their vehicles, as driving within Mexico limited to the 15 minute drive from the border crossing to the facility.
